Artist's Note: When I began doctoring up tobacco ads to make them honest, it was a spontaneous act…cutting and pasting day and night. I never gave any thought to where it would all lead. Later, I realized that I should have photographed the ads first, so that people could see what the ads looked like before I cut them up. But, alas… So I set out to find duplicates so that people could see my art work and the original tobacco ads, side by side.
